The hotel

Modern, hip, and tasteful. langley hotel tignes 2100 has the best location possible in tignes le lac (the main village in tignes). amongst the facilities you´ll find the restaurant and bar that overlooks the peaceful lake in the village. the restaurant serves international cuisine with local influences for breakfast, lunch and dinner. we strive to use local products as much as possible to reduce our impact on the environment.

The hotel consists of 215 rooms and has up to 550 guest as maximum capacity.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with a set concept for dessert menus and baking program
  • Daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Planning of custom-made desserts and pastries for special occasions
  • Ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking
  • Operating and maintaining the pastry section of the kitchen and creating a successful working environment within the kitchen
  • Manage that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Ensure the kitchen and production areas are clean and maintained at highest safety standards
  • Schedule full-time; day/evenings and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as pastry chef, baker, or relevant role
  • A passion for hospitality, baking, and the guest experience
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and standards

  • Period December - May
